Fundraisers

Backpacks

An annual DCS fundraiser enables us to provide qualified secondary students with sturdy backpacks filled with recommended school supplies at no cost, in time for school to open at the end of July.

Chromebooks

New chromebooks are given to qualified secondary school students, enabling kids to complete their homework assignments online. Chromebooks are delivered to students’ homes to ensure they can access their school internet link. Funds for purchasing these are raised in July as the local school calendar year starts at the end of the month.

Gift Card Distributions

With donated funds, DCS partners with Village Community Resource Center to distribute gift cards from Food Maxx and Kohl's.  These help to provide essentials for families in need of immediate assistance throughout the year.
